|The factors determining the course grade are:
Tests 1 & 2 (23% each)
Individual test grades are never curved. If a curve should be justified, it will be computed at the end of the semester. Because of this policy, it is, therefore, impossible for me to tell you what grade you need to achieve on the final exam to earn a particular letter grade in the course. However, you may use the "what if" Excel spreadsheet at any time during the semester to check out the possibilities.
In the interest of fairness and equity in grading, there will be no extra credit work of any kind.
The grading standards set in this course are very high and you are expected to perform up to those standards. Grades are competitively determined.
